Hi, I’m Gabbi!
Believer. Wife. Momma x2. Stay at home mom.
Facts about me
I grew up in small town Wyoming and never went too far away from home. Growing up, I lived on a small farm. My mom was a gardener and AMAZING from scratch cook. Because of this, my passions for from scratch cooking, homesteading, and being an intentional mother were all learned through the examples she set in our family.
My husband and I met when we were in high school and got married in 2019. We have since welcomed two sweet boys to our family. Boys are wild, dirty, and sweeter than I could have ever imagined. An amazing gift from the Lord! (Psalm 127:3)
Through my schooling I graduated college with a degree in education. I spent a year working in a preschool, and a year working as a third grade teacher. While I loved teaching kiddos, when I had my second boy I knew I wanted to be at home. Now I happily teach my two boys all things preschool and watching them learn is amazing!
More about our homestead, and what my blog is all about:
We own our dream property right down the road from where I grew up. We have around 70 acres, and are slowly fixing up the house and land into our complete dream.
Living in Wyoming means we love to soak up lots of camping, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and time outside.
I have spent the last 2 years diving into all things homesteading, from scratch cooking, sourdough fermenting, and intentionality within our home. My research quickly turned into a passion and I am happy to be able to share my experiences on our farm, recipes I have made, all things sourdough, and ways I have learned to make a more intentional home with you all.
Most important of all..
I am a sinner, saved by Grace (Ephesians 2:1-10). How gracious is He to give me this life to live. I want this life I live to reflect nothing but the goodness of God. And while I am not perfect, nor will I ever be, I will strive to be more like Jesus everyday.
